Contemporary bunny gore began with this Holy Grail scene, which later cult classics adopted and recreated in their own styles–Twilight Zone, the movie, Donnie Darko, etc. If you’ve never seen Holy Grail and wondered why some people put their fingers up to their lips like rabbit teeth then spontaneously yell “Run away!” this is the reason. “Killer Bunny” may be one of the most beloved of all the Holy Grail scenes.
