“Emperatriz de la Orilla del Río” is the story of a Mexican prostitute, jilted by her lover. She dances with seven beer bottles on her head and talks to a kingfisher. I’m so excited that this story will be appearing in PANK, December Issue. A big thank you to Roxane Gay and M. Bartley Seigel.
